The PIPER J-3 is a semi-scale model of the old-timer light aircraft of the same name. It is a sport machine which is particularly easy to fly, and is traditionally painted yellow. The type´s good-mannered flying characteristics are also a feature of our RC model, which can be assembled ready to fly in just a few minutes. No adhesives are required, all the model´s components are pre-painted yellow and the decals are already applied. The tools required to build the model are supplied in the pack. All the RC components, including receiver, servos, motor switch and SPEED 400 motor, are factory-fitted, ready to use. Like the full-size machine, the wings are braced using V-struts. The struts help to provide a scale appearance as well as increasing the model´s strength. With the high-capacity NiMH battery (1.3 Ah) flight times of up to 10 minutes are possible.
